How to run a success trade show

If you want more customers to buy your products, there are many methods you can do to increase your business sales, for example, advertising, networking marketing and attending a trade show. Among these methods, I do think attending a trade show is the best way to increase your business sales.

A trade show will give you the opportunity to show your business off to potential customers in order to gain some publicity. However going to a trade show for the very first time can be rather scary. So, how to hold a success trade show?

1. Choose a good location to place your trade show booth, and design an attractive booth, you must let your customers to see your products or company’s name and the service you offer at your booth image. It helps if you have attractive signs, nice décor, and perhaps lights, but at the minimum, have a banner made; you can get a booth-size banner for just a few hundred dollars.

2 Buy some trade show display stands to display and advertise your merchandise to your customers, for example, you can use a banner stand, pop up display stand and other trade show displays, those trade show displays are lightweight, cheap and easy to set up. Just make the most of those display stands.

There are also other ways to advertise your products, for example, you can prepare some promotional materials. Brochures and leaflets are typical promotional materials that need to be freely available. Make sure your contact details and web address are printed on everything. You can also set up a DVD player in your booth that continuously loops your marketing video. Make sure that the DVD you receive from your production house has this loop feature built in.

3. Open your booth to visitors, it is not enough to set up a good-looking boot, if you have attended a trade show, you may find that many trade show participants often sit tight behind a 6-foot table and wait for the visitors to get in. While it is not a good choice to do so, it is good to remove the table and try to get the visitors inside. This makes your booth more approachable to a prospective customer. If you really need some tables, get some bar-height pedestal tables so that your representatives can communicate or demonstrate the product in a one to one environment.

4. Provide a ‘giveaway’ with your branding on it – keep it small to reduce expenses. Nail files, pens and notepads are always popular. Or you might have something more specific to your business that works really well. By sending those giveaways, it increases awareness of your company and entice attendees to your booth.
