4 tricks on how to dress to make you look thin

Have you ever wondered why some clothes look a little off while some clothes flatter you? Well, it all depends on your body type and the kind of clothes that you are wearing. If you want to make your clothes thin in you, here are some tricks that can help you.

If you have a fat leg and want to make your legs look slim, you can buy pants that have a dark wash. A pair of straight cut dark wash denim jeans will make your legs look slimmer. Also, get a pair that fits the widest part of your legs. If you want to avoid the dreaded muffin top, don’t go for low rise jeans, instead look for mid rise jeans in order to cover up those unwanted bulges. If you want to go for a casual-formal look, a pair of trouser jeans will do the trick. Add a pair of heels and you’re all set.

While some women have a big bottom, then an A-line skirt is the best bet. It makes your waist appear slimmer and it also hides a big bottom. Also, wear darker colors at the bottom and then lighter colors at the top so that there will be a good balance. Prints can also make a difference. Try experimenting with stripes. Horizontal stripes can widen your frame while vertical stripes make you look taller.

We always wear some jewelry as well. Lots of jewelry may make you feel confident and successful, but jewelry does not make you look thin. Stick to simple earrings with a single necklace. Or if you are wearing a dramatic pendant, forgo the earrings or choose simple studs. Let one single piece or accessory make the statement.

Another way to look thinner is to wear a garment with a flattering V-neckline. V-necklines create a nice vertical line and a leaner, longer look.

Remember that proper sizing is the key. Don’t wear something that won’t work well on your figure. Try to look for the right clothes that fit your body type. By following this useful tips, I am sure you can dress beautiful.
